I participated in Nat 1 Publishing’s first ever Winter Court Challenge this year in which writers are given a prompt and components to include in their stories in response. Although I started off telling more tragic tales, I wound up getting more and more meta as the event went on and even created an interactive Select-Your-Own-Story with different crazy outcomes for the reader to discover. One prompt came out every week plus a bonus prompt, so I have five stories in this book as follows:
Celaeno’s Curse for Prompt #1, Trigger Warning: destruction, implied genocide, implied war
Mudlump’s Last Loss for Prompt #2, Trigger Warning: child death
Story Time for Prompt #3
Lost in the Library (A Select-Your-Own-Story) for Prompt #4
Through the Owl’s Head Looking Glass Window for BONUS Prompt
