I participated in the Summer Court event through Nat 1 Publishing, offering a biannual addition to the Winter Court and more writing challenges. There were four prompts with choose-your-own components three out of five this time, and I responded with four stories hearkening back to stories included in other anthologies.
The Witch’s Curse / Blessing for Prompt #1 (based on The Frog Prince in Of Frogs, Fairies, and Flying Things): Trigger Warning: suggested bear mauling
Just Desserts for Prompt #2 (based on Chuckwagon Cookie: Ravioli Challenge from Weird Weird West)
Spinning Spells for Prompt #3 (based on Stupid Dream of Dumped the Wrong Stat)
Just Draggin’ Along fr Prompt #4 (based on Dragonslaying from TPK with a nod to Peter, Paul, and Mary’s Puff the Magic Dragon): Trigger Warning: implied child death, depression
